I work across culture, communication and community, bringing together people, projects and ideas through live events, organisational engagement and cultural collaboration.

My background spans senior leadership within biomedical research, independent cultural programming, education and hospitality. Over the years I’ve worked with research institutions, artists, local authorities, venues, schools and community organisations — always with a particular interest in conversation, listening and the ways people gather to create meaning together.

My work is useful to organisations that need someone who can move between strategy and delivery: shaping the idea, building the relationships, managing the detail, and making the experience happen.

I’m currently involved in a range of projects spanning music, culture, engagement and place-making, including Watford Jazz Junction, EFG London Jazz Festival, and Moonrays in Soho.

Other interests

Alongside my professional work, I’ve remained closely involved in music, civic life and independent cultural projects — from co-founding the Oxhey Village Brewery to fronting The Ten Bells Rag Band on clarinet across hundreds of performances in London and beyond.

I studied Social Policy as a scholar at the University of Bristol, am a member of the Forward Institute, and hold Chartered CIPR qualifications in public relations and communications. I have also served as an elected local councillor and as a trustee of the Music of Life Foundation.
